With a Cowl fitted the risks of Birds Nesting is taken away and the risk of a blocked Chimney is gone too. It might seem that it is an additional cost but birds do tend to return to the same location to nest so not having to pay clearance fee each year is only second to the removal of the risk of a Chimney Fire.
